“It was an easy choice,” said Fitness. “HA5 was going to work longer than what I call the ‘bad mascara’ asphalt [seal] we had previously. When it rained, it washed off.”

“It was easy because we could communicate with the staff and owners,” said Fitness. “They provided services to get people to and from their homes [during the application]. They were so willing to work with us to make sure our community was not disrupted any more than it needed to be.”
Fitness also mentioned how well everyone worked together from start to finish throughout the HA5 application process.
“It was amazing — the care and planning that went into it from the staff at HA5, at Holbrook, and the staff at Whisper Rock. We worked very well together to make sure it was a smooth transition, and everybody was happy with the end result.”
After applying HA5 throughout Whisper Rock Estates, community members noticed the difference right away and have been very happy with the results.
“We don’t have any complaints about our roads. People feel that they look like they’re brand new,” said Fitness. “Even when [prospective residents] come through to look at lots and homes, they’re amazed at how the roads are still performing after being done in 2015.”

“If you amortize how long it’s going to last, it’s a better [fit], because HA5 is going to remain in your community for many years without needing to be redone,” said Fitness. “There may need to be crack seals and things of that nature, but it’s very minor. So, economically, it was the best choice for this community.”
